A contemplative pause from work

That is not true, George Eliot, sometimes it really is too late to be what you might have been. Fortunately and thankfully, the young among can still try our hands at this. Also, even if we don’t get what we want, Dan Gilbert tells us we will be just as happy in a TED talk I commented on.

One response to “A contemplative pause from work

  1. Commenting on an old post, alas.

A personal favorite “adage” that was told me by a previous boss, upon firing me (it was a great life lesson, and I has been propelling me on ever since):

“You have to be what you want to become.”

I think that it is more true, and more motivating.
